Omakase in the Valley - Suggestions?

cincodemayo1 | Feb 3, 2012 12:29 PM

Went to Kiwami last night for the first time and loved it. I'm thinking about trying one of their Omakase options soon. If I recall correctly, the menu lists two options, one for $50 and one for $70. Has anyone tried either? Is the $50 option good enough for a date night or is the $70 option significantly better? What's the difference? I've also read that there is a $100 option where you sit with Katsu-ya. Is that the only course where you sit in the back room?

Ideally I'd like to spend under $100/person. Any other suggestions for omakase in the area? Looking for options on the Valley side, between Burbank and Encino.
