Hi Philly Chowhounds,
I'll be in Philadelphia on Saturday the 28th, leaving early afternoon on the 29th. I'm looking for ideas for a restaurant on Saturday night, brunch Sunday morning, and maybe a cool bar to go to on Saturday night. I'm staying at the Crown Palaza in Center City. I'd prefer that all three options be easily accessible to the hotel or, if there aren't very good dinner options in the area, I'd prefer at least that dinner and drinks be near each other.
For dinner, I'm looking for Italian, French, or New American with moderate prices (high teens to low twenties for an entree). I prefer delicious food with some heart over trendier restauarants.
I'm not looking for anything fancy for brunch--just a hearty and home-cooked meal to soak up the alcohol from the night before. Looking to spend less than $50 for 2 people.
Finally, for a bar Saturday night I'd prefer a loungey space with an interesting drink menu.
Thanks in advance for your help, and I'll return the favor when you're in my city!
