Just had lunch at the Sunny Day Diner in Lincoln-No Woodstock. After passing it many times, I managed to stop and was delighted that I did. They seem to be taking their mission seriously. I had my diner favorite, an open faced meatloaf sandwich with gravy on homemade bread. My ten year old daughter had the fried haddock sandwich with delicious fries. She licked the plate clean. The desserts were very good diner fare. A cherry-apple pie and a chocolate ho-ho cake, kind of like a whoppie pie, layers of choclate cake and cream filling. The breakfasts looked great but having already had ours, we opted for lunch.
