I just got back from probably the best pizza of my life at Motorino. In fact, I'm still smiling. We had the brussels sprout & pancetta and the soppresatta. Good lord, the way that the crust was all blistered and crispy plus the thin chewiness of the dough reminded me so much of naan balanced with the butteriness of the cheese. I think I have to give the soppresatta the edge despite it being slightly soggier just because of how the flavors melded together - the spicy salty meat plus the tang of the tomato sauce and the pillows of mozzarella cheese on top.
My friend agreed that it even rivals Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix, which tops Best of lists nationally. My other friend said that this is the pizza that they serve in heaven. It was so good I can't wait to go again. Sadly we didn't get to try the dessert, but I'm sure I'll have other opportunities.
