My chowhound son will be working in the Miramar/Pembroke Pines area for the next four weeks or so and asks for dinner recs. He has a car, an adequate expense account and a burning desire to escape hotel/tourist fare.
He's a big fan of fresh seafood, raw seafood, Asian, Indian and Latino cuisines. He's interested in good food. Ambience is not an issue: paper plates, paper napkins and plastic utensils are ok if the food is worth it. He's not a big drinker and prefers to avoid "scenes" when working for a client.
I recognize this may not be the best time to make inquiries but I figure chowhounds are chowhounds regardless of what nature throws at 'em.
Thanks in advance.
