Mama's is a neighborhood breakfast/lunch joint on the edge of Washington Square. They serve a great breakfast, if you don't mind the wait.
Last weekend I went there for lunch and had their classic club, which came with cole slaw. I didn't particularly like cole slaw before. Now, I'm not even sure I know what good cole slaw is supposed to be, but I know I liked theirs. It's very light, just a touch of mayo, some tangy, some sweet, and nothing but green cabbage. It's so simple and I loved it.
I've already posted an inquiry on the General board asking for recipes. But it seems now I have a cole slaw craving! Anywhere else in the city that has good cole slaw?
