Macoun apples at Berkeley Bowl

Ruth Lafler | Nov 8, 2010 07:12 PM

When I walked into Berkeley Bowl this afternoon and saw the Macoun apples I squealed (no doubt embarrassing grayelf, whom I was showing around Berkeley).

The Bowl had many, many varieties of apples, including some (Macoun, Spitzenberg) rarely seen in the area. I also bought some red corn (not red like Indian corn, but white kernals that look like they were sponged with red -- very pretty and delicious!).
