L'Ulivo - long-overdue praise

I realized as I was reading yet another lenghty pizza disucssion on this site that I have never given due praise to L'Ulivo, a foccaceria/pizzeria on Spring Street. I've been eating there for nearly ten years and have never had a bad meal. I never see much on this site about the place (despite the regualr pizza-offs) and a search revealed a mere two mentions. I'm curious - do people know this place? What are Chowhounds' opinions? Seems like people in NY spend so much time debating pizza, so I'd love to know some thoughts on L'Ulivo.

The pizzas are thin-crust Italian pizzas, about half with tomato sauce and half without. My personal favorite is the foccacia l'ulivo, a sauce-less pizza with fontina, prosciutto and arugula. Out a little of the hot chilli oil on it and you're in heaven. It's a perfect flavor and texture combination. They also do some mean salads - my favorite is the insalata tropicale, which features fresh shaved parmesan, avocado and hearts of palm.

Decent wines, beers and coffees. I've always been able to get a table and the atmosphere is pleasant, service good. They have a few sidewalk tables for warmer days.
