I just moved into the Junction and I'm looking for recommendations from Hounds on what's great in this area -- Roncey, High Park, etc are also in easy striking distance. Restaurants, delivery, specialty food shops, major supermarkets, etc, etc. Where do you eat? Where do you buy things to eat?
So far, I've tried Cool Hand of a Girl for brunch and lunch (good food, service a little slowish during weekend brunches, terrible iced tea), the Junction Eatery for brunch and dinner (great food, service a lot slowish at all times, terrific iced tea), Vesuvio (good pizza, meh gnocchi, cheap wine).
I've picked up a few groceries at the FreshCo at Bloor and Dundas, which seems pretty clean and shiny for a discount grocer, and the produce looked fairly nice. Where else do Junctioneers (Junctioners? Junctionites?) shop for groceries? Eventually I will unpack my kitchen and want to buy more than a loaf of bread and a jar of nutella.
