ISO Specific Mandelbrot Recipe Please

I am looking for a recipe called Rosie's Mandelbrot. I've been making it for years at Christmas but the book it was in is packed away and in another state. The books is an 80s vintage Best of Bon Appetit. There must be another chowhounds out there with this book. I know it (almost) by heart but am unsure about one ingredient - milk - although I do know all of the preparation and baking steps. If anyone had this book and can find the recipe I'd be eternally grateful. I've searched on line and can't seem to find it. I can always use another recipes but this one is tried and true.

I know it includes:

6 eggs
2 sticks butter
2 cups sugar
4 1/3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt.
1 tbsp almond extract

2 cups sliced toasted almonds
6 oz chocolate sprinkles (I use mini morsels)

What I can't remember for the life of me is whether I'm also supposed to add 1 cup of milk when blending in the dry ingredients into the butter/sugar/egg mixture. I think I am but my brain may be confusing it with a completely different recipe (its an age thing). Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me!
