Identifying epazote

Cachetes | Aug 4, 2012 10:59 AM

This isn't quite a gardening question, but you all seem like the right people to ask. My (mexican) husband was out walking our dog, and located what he thinks is a wild patch of epazote. We are in the Boston area. He brought home a plant, and we've compared it with online pictures. It definitely looks the same, and smells like epazote (according to him).

Does anyone know of any characteristics of the plant that can confirm or disconfirm it as epazote? Or do you know of any related plants in the area?
