I need to plan a menu for a ladies supper meeting at church. The program will be musical and I would like to have a "musical" menu to carry out the theme.
We discussed having a "fifties" menu as a small part of the program will deal with that decade, but I prefer the "musical" theme.
The big challenge is that the food must be something very easily prepared and not extravagant. Something ultra simple such as a casserole, salad, bread, and dessert. We usually make assignments among the host group and these people prepare dishes at home and bring to church.
I'm really stumped on this one and look forward to hearing from those more creative than I am!
