Hope & Anchor - downhill already?

I went back to Hope & Anchor for the second time last night.

While it wasn't amazing the first time, it was good. This time, it was really NOT good.

The roast chicken must have been roasted the day before - or a week before! It was so incredibly dried out. And the monkfish, which on my first visit was in sort of a light broth, was in a thicker tomato-y sauce - and there was hardly any monkfish to be found in there! Even the bread was sub-par.

To top it all off, they have a "bartender in training" who couldn't make anything right. We had to send a whiskey sour back because it didn't appear to have any alcohol in it, and it wasn't much better the second time. The Manhattan came on the rocks, which I thought was odd, and was also weak. The green apple martini tasted artifical and syrupy. Yech.
