The crew behind the very successful Home Restaurant
at Church and Market premiered their new location in
the Jewish Community Center.

In The Crowd: industry and media types-Leah Garchik from the Chronicle and Ron Harris from AP. Plenty of the Pacific Heights party crowd in cocktail dresses.
Not a tattoo to be seen.

On The Plate:
Fried chicken breast cubes, Lavender lamb chops w/ minted tomato relish (Dan McCalls are better), Potato
latkes w/ smoked salmon, Mom's meatloaf and gravy
(served as meatballs in thick, unsalty sauce) and
Home pizza pie (no comment-do you like Pizza Hut?)

Off The Top Shelf:

Mayo Napa Syrah
Eschol Road Cabernet
Ramsay and Artesa Pinot
Mias Playground and Frias Family Merlot

Most entrees are in the $10-$16 range such as:
5 spice duck confit w/ tangerine cabbage slaw
Grilled seafood burger w/ pickled ginger
Orange soy Long Island duck w/ shitake blue lake beans
