this is a new Argentinean restaurant - opened mid October.
I popped in today and tried one of their set lunches - an empanada (i chose sweetcorn and goat's cheese), braised short rib with polenta and a beet, rocket & pomegranate salad for £9.50.
the food was delicious - the empanada pastry was wonderfully light and crisp and the filling had interesting flavours beyond the expected corn and goat's cheese ( some chilli kick but not just that); a large tender flavoursome rib on really good corn polenta (it made me want to make my own at some point soon) and the salad flavours worked really well.
the ground floor space is good for a quick lunch and turns into more of a bar in the evening, there is a restaurant space downstairs.
