I'm trying to choose between various restaurants for a night in Florence in a few weeks' time. We don't want to go the Enoteca high-end route -- as it's our first trip to Florence, we wanted to eat more classical food.
From what I've read, it seems like the following may be a good bet. Can anyone help us choose?
La Decima Musa (apparently romantic)
Buca Lapi (good bistecca, I hear -- it may be a cliche but I've never eaten it so I'm happy to be cliched. Plus it has a truffle menu, and I think it's a good time of year for truffles)
Vini e Vecchi Sapori (simple and traditional)
Osteria delle tre panche (some very good reviews, but the chef proprietors have moved to San Diego so I'm not sure if it's still great; plus my wife is a bit dubious about going somewhere so small and having to share benches...it would only be worth it if the food is stellar)
Any advice v gratefully received
