Downtown PDX lunch bento, apropos of nothing

I finally stopped into Tom's Bento on First (betw. Jefferson and Madison, next to the VQ), and it was really excellent. I had the chicken, sliced and charred on the outside, with veggies and brown rice. Very good, $4.75 w/o veggies, $5.75 with. I am told that they have their fish brought in fresh from the coast daily, and if it ain't there fresh daily, they don't serve it. Really reasonable, too. I got there at a few minutes to 12 and was served quickly and disappeared into my book. when I looked up at about 12:15, there was a huge line. I can see why.
