CUP in LIC and a new french bistro in Astoria

Here's an update on CUP diner in LIC: Went for brunch this morning and the service is terrible. I was seated and my order was taken. It was all downhill after that. The waitress left me to wait for my order without bringing out my drink for over 20 minutes. The one time i caught her attention, she waved and kept walking. Finally I caught one of the manager's attention, and he brought me my drink. Someone else then proceeded to bring me my food which was very mediocre. Not only was it not anything to write home about, the kitchen or waitress had forgotten one of the items on my dish. She never bothered to check in with me, and I found the whole trip very unsatisfying. There was definitely enough staff to serve the amount of people, however, it seems they are lacking in training. I would reserve checking back in here until they are more settled. Hopefully the food gets better as well....

Another note: There is a new french bistro with sidewalk dining that opened on Broadway between 44th and 45th( I think that's the cross streets). I forgot the name but will repost later
