Creme Cremaillare French Custard Ice-Cream

I'm not a big sweet eater (more into the savory), but had to take a moment to sing the praises of Creme Cremaillare French Custard ice-cream. Origins?: La Cremaillere Restaurant, upstate New York (will post their website below). Product is sold in NYC area. They produce only a few flavors, but each is intense and wonderful. They have that ice-cream taste I remember as a kid. Creme Brulee is spectacular; vanilla, outstanding. Yesterday, I tried their "Pistachi-Ooh-La-La" -- custard pistachio with pistachios and almonds. "Ooh-La-La" indeed! What could be bad about these first four ingredients: cream, milk, sugar, egg yolks. The pistachio, come to think of it, reminds me of the flavor served in favorite old Chinese restaurants: "Chocolate, vanilla, pistachio or orange sherbert?" WEBSITE: www.cremecremaillere.com
