Years ago while on a business trip to SF (from Seattle) I stumbled into a bar (attached to a restaurant) near Union Square with a fabulous wine list and had the Best Lamb Shank Of My Life. It was on a bed of de Puy lentils, crispy, tender, oh my mouth is watering now!
where should I go to try and relive this experience? Not too expensive please.
I will be in SF 2 nights and other places on the top of my short list are Nopa, Bar Tartine, and Yuet Lee (ate there years ago and loved it!).
