Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican restaurant on Cortelyou Road. The food there is generally just okay. I usually only go there for breakfast because there is nowhere else halfway decent in my neighborhood to go for breakfast. (So all those folks griping about brunch in Park Slope don't know what they've got. I've walked across the park to get to Park Slope for salmon and eggs on Sunday.) However, I just had the chorizo con papas quesadilla at Cinco de Mayo and it was really tasty. Its not a quesadilla like you would normally think, its not a tortilla but a kind of dough pocket filled with potatoes and some chorizo (not that much), fresh lettuce and crema. It was delicious.
