Change in Dinner Plans - Now I Need a Restaurant for a Group

We'll be in NO in May for 5 nights with kids (but without them for 2 meals). So far, we're planning on Dick & Jenny's (w/kids), Emeril's (w/o kids but with a big group in the private room), Galatoire's (w/kids), brunch at Commander's Palace (w/kids) and either Upperline or Brigtsen's (w/kids). To conclude our tour, I was mentally prepared for a delicious dinner at Gabrielle, sans kids, with 2 or 3 couples. Now I'm informed that night's dinner (yes, we're there for a convention) will be more like 8-12 people. I talked to a very helpful person at Gabrielle, and just don't think that would be the best place for that large a group. (I really hate to miss Gabrielle...maybe we'll just take the kids...)

So now what? I'm thinking of The Pelican Club, or maybe Upperline or Brigtsen's. Probably a number of the group will have also been at the Emeril's dinner with us; the diners are pretty adventurous eaters and several are huge wine-lovers. Any suggestions of a good place with fantastic NO cuisine that would be suitable for a group of 8-12 (and that would complement our other dinner choices)?
