Grub Street's feature on traditional carbonara preparations has given me a serious craving. Any places downtown (preferably central or east village or LES) that serve a great one? I get it at Otto all of the time and love it but I go there a lot and am looking for something different - ideally at Otto's price point or below. I've done a search and seen some recommendations for the carbonara at Crispo. Is that the way to go or would you suggest anything else?
