Early Wednesday on my walk to work I happened upon the delivery of a large quantity of frozen ValChris Farms hen turkeys to Hing Lung (the deli on Stockton, not the restaurant on Broadway). They will be roasted a la "Cantonese Duck" and sold for $2/lb for a whole bird, according to the butcher on site.
You can also BYO turkey and have them roast it for you for a flat rate (last year it was $15). King Tin on Washington will do the same, but charges more, as I recall.
For this year's Thanksgiving feast I may stop pretending that a duck is a turkey and go for the real thing.
