Well, I give the tarte flambe a C+. Actually the classic version with bacon and onions isn't too bad, although the second round we had, the onions were still half raw. But these are very very small -- definitely just a few bites for one person -- and even the creme fraiche on the classic was just piped on after baking. Not worth a special trip, in my opinion, although if you want a quick snack, having one in the bar/cafe area would be pleasant enough...
We also tried the munster tarte flambe, which turned out to have just the cheese and too much of it for my taste. A butter lettuce and hazelnut salad was pleasant, and the lentil soup with smoked duck that my husband ordered was quite delicious.
The re-do of the space isn't all that great -- it rather feels like they ran out of money. The bar area is nice enough and it's good to see they kept the magazine racks, although sadly there are fewer foreign ones and all the foreign books are gone. But the restaurant area looks like it was done on the cheap.
