Beer and Food

I have been on a mission lately to find a good eating establishment in the Plano area that has decent food but also has a good beer selection. A lot of times when I find a good selection of beer, it's at the expense of good food. I guess what I'm saying is that all beer drinkers don't always want pub grub, wings or deep fried goodness.

On the flip side, if I find a good menu and ask what's on tap I always get the standard, Bud, Bud light, Coors, Coors light and the not so exotic Shiner or some other beer they throw in to look micro brew savvy.

So does anyone have any recommendations for good beer and food pairings in the area that is reasonable? Not really looking for 4 star dining, just some good food and beer. Perhaps more on the casual side.

Surprisingly, I went to Humperdinks of all places here recently and they had some pretty decent beer selections, even had some of their own house brew and a fairly extensive menu. I know I have passed that place on 75 Central 500 times over the years and never checked them out.

Everything from fish taco's to filet mignon. Thanks in advance for any input you might have!
