Just had to post on this one.
Ate at Mill's tavern in Providence and had a truly excellent meal.
Green salad was nicely done and the piece de resistance: wood oven roasted suckling pig with swiss chard and mashed sweet potatoes. Blew my mind good crispy skin and all. My friend had the filet mignon and it was just a perfect piece of meat.
She also ordered a side of garlic mashed that were great with deep fried onions on top as a garnish.
The Portugese sweet bread pudding was great too. Only complaint: more caramel sauce with the bread pudding please.
One of the best meals I have had in New England recently Better then most of what Boston has to offer.
This place rocks!
The Providence Journal gave it a rave review too.
