Father's Day Brunch in South Bay
Folks-
Does anyone have a good restaurant in the South Bay to suggest for a Father's Day brunch. We will have a group of 12 or so, with some kids. Price is not a big deal. Close to SJ airport would be good, but is not a must.
Thoughts?

From the Mercury News for Mother's so may be repeated for Father's day.
"In Santa Clara, Parcel 104 at the Santa Clara Marriott (2700 Mission College Blvd.) is planning a Mother's Day brunch buffet for $59.95 for adults, $19.95 for children. Reservations: (408) 970-6104."

Oh, that's too bad. Perhaps check closer to Father's Day, especially on Opentable.com. I did notice that quite a few restaurants did a special prix fixe for Mother's Day (like upscale Arcadia at Marriott downtown San Jose).
Here are some other choices that are normally open for bkfst/lunch, relatively close to the airport.
Fairmont Hotel, San Jose
Il Fornaio, San Jose
Four Seasons, Palo Alto (right off 101 so won't take too long to get to the airport)
Faz, Sunnyvale

If you don't mind Indian buffets, there's upscale Amber in Santana Row & at $15/$16 vs. $59, it is a steal. The one located in Mountain View is better though (may be a bit far).

Wow, thanks for all the help. Great ideas.
The Fairmont has a regular Sunday Brunch, but I haven't heard back from them if there is anything special being done for Father's Day.
Another one that I found is the Hayes Mansion. They don't show it on their website yet, but the manager said that they will have a special Father's Day Brunch and BBQ.
