Good restaurants on the upper east side
I live on 81 and York and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good restaurants in that area that are not that expensive. I like all types of food. So any ideas.

Elio's is spectacular. Sushi of Gari is even more spectacular, but $$$, but so worth it.

Two places that are more of a take out/delivery place than a restaurant on York between 73rd and 74th. Palacio Azteca for Mexican and right next door Tropicalia for Brazilian. Great value at both places.
Also try Canyon Road on 1st ave @ 77th. Decent to good Southwestern, very slow service but good atmosphere and not expensive.
