I aasume you are talking about the Parnassus campus. My suggestions are Pomelo (noodles) on Parnassus around 6th for lunch and Koo (japanese) on Irving and 4th for dinner. Just a few blocks further there are many more places - Vietnamese on judah near 9th, Ebisu on 9th and Irving, just to name two.
