Mayor's Own Marinara (RI) - still available?

I can't find it anywhere....has it ceased to exist or am I having bad luck? I wanted it as part of a RI gift basket for an out of town friend.

  1. Jane: Your question raised my curiosity so I did a Google search and found the following link:

A comment dated July 5, 2007, regarding the provided recipe references Mayor's Own Marinara, and it sounds like it might still be available, but doesn't mention where. If I see it in my travel around RI, I'll let you know.

      Thanks Tunia!

Garris, same here.....hasn't been at my usual spots....Super S&S, and Dave's Mktplace.

    2. I think I've seen it recently at a Super Stop & Shop. I wasn't really paying attention but it sort of jumps out. I would call first.

      1. I used to see it at the East Side Marketplace.

Last time I was at East Side, it wasn't there...

        2. I got a jar at Stop and Shop today, and they still have at least 12 more left (or did this morning at 10:30). It's the Branch Ave Stop and Shop. Go, go, before there's a run on the place! :-)

Thanks for the post! I just found it myself at S&S in Lincoln - must've just been an out of stock situation.

This jarred my memory, saw it on Sunday at the S&S in Seekonk. They had about 35 jars of it.

          2. I saw some at East Side Market fairly recently. It was on display at the end of an aisle near the registers- I think with some coffee syrup and kenyon's cornmeal. They had at least a dozen jars.

            1. Here's a link to an online source for all things RI (including Mayor's Own Marinara).

              1. Venda Ravioli on Federal Hill (Atwells Ave) always seems to have it...
