Soon to Be New Salt Lake City Restaurant

I see that Broadway Bistro is coming soon to Salt Lake City, former home of Third and Main. Anyone know anything about the place other than the menu posted in the window?

  1. Nope, but I know of an even more exciting soon-to-be restaurant.

Acme Burger Company, headed by wunderkind chef Adam Kreisel from the dear, departed Globe Cafe By Moonlight. In the funky-shaped space abutting the back of PF Chang's. I'm guessing August some time. A "white tablecloth burger joint" is one of the descriptions being bandied about.

wow! I'm happy that Adam is going to be back. I had some serious foodie friends take me down to Globe one night and Adam did a special menu for us. One of the best dinners I've had anywhere. It'll be interesting to see what he4 does with a "burger joint" !!

Amen, sister! The Globe was truly amazing. The Globe's other Adam, Findlay, is doing well. He cooks at the Viking Yurt at The Canyons in the winter and then heads to a high-end fishing camp in Alaska for the summers.

As for Acme Burger, one of the burgers AK did for the tasting was a lamb burger with harissa (and buddha knows what else). The guy has the imagination and the chops to pull off some pretty incredible stuff.

Yum! I work just around the corner and will definitely be checking that out. Thanks! I normally don't walk that way, but will now make a special trips to keep on the lookout for its opening.
