Post-film-festival hang near NYSE

I've got a short film making its NYC debut at the ACE Film Festival on August 25 (a Saturday), and I need to find a restaurant or nice bar for a cast/crew/friends hang afterward.

The festival takes place at the Broad Street Ballroom, across the street from the NYSE. Our screening will be over at around 3:30 PM. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

  1. Congratulations!

Head over to Front Street near the water (views of Brooklyn Bridge & Woolworth building). Nelson Blue (not my kind of scene) is where all the beautiful people and Wall Street types seem to be hanging out these days (Thursday & Friday are more happening). It's fairly new.

It may be a little far to walk, and I've never really liked Beautiful People, but my bicycle commute takes me right past there twice a day. I'll go check it out. Thanks!

    2. The area is pretty dead on a Saturday but anywhere on Stone St. will do you well. I believe Adrian's, Ulysses and Smorgas Chef are all open on Saturday - Ulysses has the best bar of the 3.

Stone Street might work and is closer to Broad. I am not a fan of Adrienne's.

I second Ulysses. Great burgers, and it will be devoid of the suits on Saturday. They just had a James Joyce reading this past Saturday.
