Review - Delicato Creamery (Steiner Ranch)

A new cafe and gelataria which opened up within the last few months right on Quinlan Park Blvd. The baked goods are fantastic: flaky, buttery croissants, nice chewy, crusty bread, and delicious variety of pastries. They pull a decent shot of espresso and make passable drinks (I prefer a mocha made with ground cocoa, they use liquid flavor). Fresh squeezed OJ is always delicious (squeezed to order). I've tried their empanadas and liked them, but I wouldn't know how they stack up for an aficionado. My wife has had a breakfast croissant sandwich and liked it. Their gelato is all made in house using fresh ingredients (no mixes). I've only tried it once, and it seemed a little over-sweet to me, but I am no expert on geloato. I would eat their gelato again, if for no other reason than I can walk there!

The place is still new and is working out some kinks (sometimes everyone is in the kitchen and I have to track them down to order), but with an on-site bakery which puts out delicious items, I will be there often. If you're in the area, please give it a whirl!!
