Just wondering if anyone know's what happened to BASTIDE? Perhaps old news, I've just been out of the loop. Thanks!

What about "Coca-cola chicken?"
I like Bastide, too, and miss it. The people there were exceptionally nice; they let me go into the kitchen to meet the chef. The place had a fab wine list, too - I recall having wine from an era before my grandparents were born.

From what I have read, it will open when Joe Pytka makes up his mind what he wants. I look forward to checking out whatever it turns out to be. The one meal I had at BASTIDE was exceptional.
