Ingredients (6)

  • 1 liter of red wine
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • a few cloves
  • a stick of cinnamon
  • a bit of nutmeg
  • lemon peel grated (or half lemon, half orange peel)

Summary

Add a little spice to those cold winter nights – Spiced Wine or Vin Brule’. Recipes vary from region to region – but this is our favorite!

Instructions

  1. 1Bring all ingredients to a low boil & add the sugar.
  2. 2Once the sugar is dissolved–lower flame.
  3. 3Filter or strain. Serve warm & enjoy!
