  • 2 bars dark chocolate (not hersey's), melted
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, separated
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, plus more
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk

Summary

My cousin loves chocolate, so i made a chocolate layer cake. I wanted to do something different with frosting… regular chocolate was too boring for me. so i used dark chocolate instead!

Instructions

  1. 1Mix melted chocolate, butter, and 1 c. powdered sugar in a large bowl until well blended, about 1 minute
  2. 2add vanilla and buttermilk until added
  3. 3keep adding powdered sugar until desired consistency/taste, I took about 5 minutes or so. blend well after each addition
