Saw the review a few weeks ago and was in the neighborhood so we went to try it out.
Parking was non-existent. If you double park and run inside you can get a permit to park behind Brookline Liquors. I snagged the last spot so I imagine that isn't a good option on the weekends.
Service was also non-existent. At one point, the woman at the table next to ours walked around the dining room with her empty water glass trying to find someone to help her. She went to the waitress station and filled her own. It had to be at least 5 minutes before another server appeared. Its a small place so we couldn't understand where they all disappeared to. When our server was there, she was pretty spacey.
We had the guacamole and it was good except for a few pockets of lime juice. Chips were not so great and were mostly crumbs. (Could have been spacey-server error) Sangria was decent, served with a cinnamon stick.
Menu is limited. I like the 'build your own' options on the burritos and quesdillas. I had mashed potato and chicken quesedilla. It was nothing new or inventive (I make my own at home that has more zing). But DC stated 'everything tastes so fresh.'
We all left too full on the chips and quac but enjoyed our meals. Tab was $60 for app, 3 entrees, pitcher of Sangria and a beer. I guess if you can find a parking spot (or are in the area), don't need lots of attention from your server and want an inexpensive, filling meal, this is the place.
