Zafferano's

My girlfriend and I ate at Zafferanos saturday night. We started with the clams in a diavola sauce, they were fantastic with just the right amount of spicyness to the sauce. I had the vitello milanese which was a huge pan-fried veal chop cooked perfectly with a wedge of lemon and a mesclun salad on the side. My girlfriend had the chicken stuffed with fontina and prociutto in a white wine sauce which was the perfect version of saltimboca. We also shared a side of penne pomodoro which had a great ,light ,fresh,tomato sauce with just enough fresh basil. We ended the Meal with an average canolli and some awesome homemade limoncello. We will definately go back soon as it rivals any place in the North end for price/quality.
