We had a long travel and work day and a drive from Logan to the Cape. We stopped in at Solstice mid week at 8. The setting is serene and magical. The waitstaff and hostess were great. It was a tad too warm for my comfort level. We had apps: warm Medjool dates stuffed with goat on a bed of greens with a blood orange vinaigrette and toasted pistachios with pomm seeds. DELISH. The veggie spring rolls with a ponzu dipping sauce were ok not fab but nice and crispy. I found the filling a little limp. The Maryland Lump Crab Cake was very tasty with a nice remoulade. We both liked not loved the tuna tartar. It could have used a little more sauce but was lovely in it's presentation. We are big fans of sushi.
One point of mention, everything served was a work of art. There is much attention to detail here in all regards. Even the bathroom is immaculate. The only odd thing is the bathroom and entrance area had an odd septic smell.
We both had tap water and I had a lovely Pinot Grio. We cannot wait to come back for a leisurely meal. Our server knew we were tired and served us efficiently. I appreciated her attention.
