Stopped at Yummy, on US 1 just north of Oakland Park Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale again.
The stools are gone and little formica tables are in. The amazing sandwiches are gone (they're next door to a Subway, which complained to the landlord), and they're making a wider selection of entrees every day instead.
Still Peruvian and still lives up to the name. The aji de gallina, which is hacked-up chicken in a parmesan cream sauce is much much much better than it sounds: the chicken tastes roasted, not stewed, and the sauce has this great fresh, grainy texture. The optional hot sauce seems to be homemade.
Someone else there was having what looked like great lomo salteado and a huge, entree-sized plate of ceviche that got raves. Next time.
Go, go, go.
