Yank Sing

My fiance and I are about to book Yank Sing for a wedding reception, scheduled October 2005. We got mixed feelings about the place considering the food is a bit on the "western" side but it is difficult to find a Chinese restaurant that we can reserve all to ourselves on a Saturday evening.

Interior of the restaurant, we are happy with the place. It is clean and there is a changing room available for my fiancee. We had dim sum there a week ago and the service was great. We figure the service will not be an issue considering the restaurant will be closed on the specific day, allowing them to focus their attention solely on us.

We have settled on "The Lovebirds Soaring Wing to Wing" package (http://www.yanksing.com/c-menus-chi-e...) and we are hoping that they will be able to make some slight substitutions, nothing too drastic. Overall, I can say that I am confident with our decision but would like some feedback from others who have tried the banquet food. No disrespect to some who may offer feedback on Yank Sing's dim sum. I am merely interested in feedback of their dinner/banquet food.

Thanks,
Vic
