Well, the wife and I have tried almost a whole week's worth of meals from our new personal chef, and I must admit that after all of my skeptic views on the whole thing, I am quite impressed. I think that it's really going to be worth the money. The first night we had herb/teriyaki glazed salmon with chimichuri sauce,(sp) Spicy sugar snap peas, and wasabi/garlic mashed potatoes. The second night, goat cheese stuffed chicken breast with port shallot sauce, saffron brown rice pilaf, and mixed vegetables. We've still got 8 more meals to go!!! It's easily as good as any restaurant that I've eaten at lately. He came in and made 2 weeks of meals for us for around $325, or around there. If you folks haven't tried one of these services, I would whole-heartedly recommend it. It was so nice to come home from work Monday night, and not have to order pizza or take-out. Instead, all we did was take out one of the personal chef meals from the frigde, heat it up, and wham!!! a great meal in about 10 minutes.
I saw a thing on the news a few weeks back, and they were saying that these personal chef guys are popping up all over the Dallas Fort worth area. Very impressive. I think our guys name was chef on the go or something like that. I know his name was chef Hobbs though. Try one of these guys/gals out. I'm happy with the money we spent.
I'll keep you updated with the rest of the weeks meals.
