Four of us settled into the trendy looking Zack'z of Musgrave in Durban,South Africa. To cut straight to the chase, after a 45 minute wait for a very ordinary order, the waitress had deserted us obviously fearing we might have become a little irritated, I was then handed one plate of food which the other three urged I should eat and not wait for them lest they did not
receive their food. I set into the bland looking dish only to have the waitress swoop on me and remove the plate from infront of me with knife and fork in hand. Clealy they were not able to provide the order as requested and we quietly requested the bill so we could leave without further frustration. Well the waitress pleaded diligently offering all kinds of
freebies. I did not believe this at all prudent and insisted on the bill. Enter the Maitre Dee (sic) - well what a bland failure. He then proceeded to lecture our table on how unfair we were being ! And if we just waited a little longer our food would be ready. Luckily for his personal safety he was informed that he was to present to bill or face a loud exodus, making all his remaining patrons aware of his level of service. Should the public be inflicted with establishments of this nature?
