I know we're all generally interested in finding areas with an abundance of GOOD food, but for now I'm looking for the opposite. I'm hoping some of you can assist me with a grad school project I'm working on related to the issue of food access. What neighborhoods, in your opinion, have the fewest options for buying fresh, healthy food? I'm primarily interested in Brooklyn (because I live there), but could go anywhere in the city. Do they have actual supermarkets, or primarily bodegas? If you wouldn't mind suggesting a central location or intersection from which to begin my research, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
