Woody's Crabhouse off I-95 in Northeast MD

Stopped at Woody's Crab House in North East Maryland last week. (29 S Main St). We actually went to check out an antique mall there and decided to try Woody's for lunch. We got their jumbo lump crabmeat sandwich and onion rings. Even though the crab was not local, the meat was fresh and sweet and the cakes were mostly crab, as they should be -- you can get them broiled or fried. The batter dipped onion rings were also good if a wee bit greasy. The menu bragged about their crab soup but we didn't get to it. Several beers on tap too. Folks were already enjoying crabs from NC and LA, but we weren't ready to get dirty with a long ride ahead. So, if you find yourself on 95 between the Millard E. Tidings Bridge and Delaware, look for the North East exit and take it right into town about 5 miles.
