The two of us went friday night. We were seated within minutes at a table for four in the elegant main room, containing two fireplaces and a view of the open kitchen. The tables are widely spaced and the music (dance) was not too loud.
The service was friendly, polite and attentive. At one point the manager came by and asked how things were proceeding. The offered us tap water or bottled water.
The oat crusted goat cheese appetizer was excellent and the salad was good but tasted a little too much like a standard ceaser. The steak was beautifully thick and nicely grilled, the accompanying slaw was delicious and I also ordered a side of sauteed mushrooms which were nicely herbed ($5). My date said the chicken supreme was good also but not very exciting.
For desert I had a perfect Creme Brulee (they kindly offered this to me as an alternative since I can't eat wheat). My date had the mousse cake which was also good but fairly standard. By the end of the meal we were both very full.
With a cocktail, two juices, and the extra side the total was $100. They also gave us two tickets to the club upstairs which is worth a look. I plan on returning to this restaurant soon for their regular menu.
