We are heading down to AC on Thursday for the Tenacious D concert and staying at 1 night at Showboat.
I'm sort of ashamed to say I've never eaten at Whitehouse subs, either the timing was not correct, we were full from other places, or my companion(s) didn't want subs. This time, I hope it's going to happen.
I was informed that they have a second location at the Taj, and since we are saying right there, it seems like it would be a home-run to just walk over and get a sub.
Is there any difference between the two locations? Is the Nostalgia of Sinatra's towel worth the drive/finding parking, etc?
And, do you guys have recommendations for what I should order? From the menu, I'd probably go with a half a Whitehouse Special and half a cheese steak.
Here's the rest of my greasy spoon low-class eating adventure plan if you were interested:
Bills Gyro (How could you be present in AC and not show up here?)
Roy Rodgers in Bay ville on the Trip back up North.
Possibly Tony Baloney's if the timing doesn't work out.
