"A crate of Scotch whisky that was trapped in Antarctic ice for a century was finally opened Friday — but the heritage dram won't be tasted by whisky lovers because it's being preserved for its historical significance."
This seems like a real shame. It seems like at least one bottle should be tasted.
I don't think it should be sold ... as some rich person would wisk it away and that would be that.
However, there should be a group of people who give it a try and let the rest of us have a virtual taste.
While it should be people who know good Scotch, it shouldn't only be celeb foodies. One or two everyday people should be included in the group.
Well, that is what would happen if I had any say in the matter.
