I'm heading back to the old stomping grounds for a long weekend visit with my old buddy who just bought some land nearby. We're staying in Yadkinville, but will probably eat most meals in W-S. We've decided on Little Richard's on Country Club for dinner Friday night, and I'm partial to TJ's and West End Cafe for lunches, but we need a recommendation for Saturday dinner.
My buddy mentioned Hillbilly Hideaway in Walnut Cove, and Sweet Potatoes in W-S, but I'm skeptical. I'd love to get a good home-cooking type meal, I just want it to be good. Any tips? If there aren't any good soul food options for dinner, maybe a really good casual spot with top-notch food? We really enjoyed Camel City Cafe last time. My buddy hates noisy crowds, FWIW.
Also, a third spot for a good lunch on the way out of town on Sunday would be nice...
